Autumn Stovetop Potpourri
There is a chill in the air and Autumn is officially here! Whether you like Pumpkin Spice everything or not, there is something about the smell of cinnamon, cloves, apples, and pumpkin spice that just screams Fall. Want a cheap and easy way to usher in Autumn or set the mood for your next seasonal get together? Follow this easy recipe for stovetop potpourri and instantly bring out those Hygge vibes!
1. Bring about 6-8 cups of water to a gentle boil.
2. Add a few apples or pears, sliced.
3. Toss in a few cinnamon sticks, a small handful of cloves, and a generous amount of vanilla extract.
4. Simmer on low for several hours.
This is the perfect addition to any get together or real estate Open House. If you are a Real Estate Agent, consider starting this in a crockpot at home or at your office a couple hours before you arrive at the Open House. Once you arrive, set on low to allow the smell to permeate while you prepare the house. A few minutes before the first potential buyers arrive, hide it in your car and it will be your little secret.
